1. Time
   We have an initial orientation to go over our policies/ procedures, learning strategies, and reminders for working with students. After that, you would be volunteering for at least an hour each week, plus prep time for your sessions. We also have continuing trainings and meetings you can attend.
2. Responsibility
   Our students thrive under consistent sessions. If you can't make it, however, you are responsible for communicating that with the students. The easiest way to do this is to share your phone number and text them.
3. Learning
   You aren't just teaching someone else; you're also learning along the way! Be prepared to learn new techniques, topics, and skills to help your student.
4. Technology
   This isn't a requirement, but it's always a plus to be aware of how to navigate devices and use learning or communication apps.
